SHML Capstone Design
The Capstone Design course (AM3403/AM3404) aims to provide engineering design experiences, and the ability to utilize engineering knowledge acquired through lectures. Throughout the course during two semesters, students design a comprehensive engineering system, by communicating with the team members.
Based on our mission to nurture creative engineers, the Smart Hybrid Manufacturing Laboratory is trying to discover, develop, and implement ideas that can serve society and contribute to the future. The potential focus areas are mainly related to (but are not limited to) manufacturing processes, systems, and machines. To achieve the goal, we utilize our own fabrication capabilities and keep collaborating with many groups from academia and industry as well.
